If you’re the type that does cycling, you might want to try doing some laps jogging to see if you can work in some different muscle groups.

Doing a circuit training or boot camp type exercise could also be an exciting way for you to spice up your workout routine. These different types of exercises utilize a bit of variety for you to use in your exercise routine. Doing something like circuit training, where you do a series of cardio and weight training stations that alternate, might serve you well.

One thing that should be incorporated into whichever exercise routine you use should be stretching. Even if you’re looking for variety you still should incorporate stretching. Some decide to use stretching as the main body of their work out, it can be done with many forms of yoga, or you can use it for your warm-up and cool-down. Just keep in mind that stretching is one thing that should never be overlooked.

Also, when you are just starting your workout routine, don’t forget to modify your difficulty level and increase your intensity. Any type of variation will keep your workouts fresh and exciting, and your body will respond in a positive manner to the changes that you apply to your workout routine.
